Best to get it done while the movement is out, less wear and tear on the movement/case/crystal.

And when he does, have him take a photo of the back of the dial 馃槈

Here's the back of the dial. Curious what you guys think. My watchmaker said if it's a redial, it was expertly done.

I see nothing that leads me to believe it's a redial.

No job numbers or notches on the back.

Looks good to me.
