Seamaster "TV" dial information

Hello!
I've recently acquired a "TV" dial Seamaster (366.0845/166.0213) from someone I trust, and love it! The look and feel is perfect for me. I'd like to purchase additional examples occasionally when the right ones come around and want to do research before I get too far in.

I've found minimal information at https://www.omegawatches.com/en-us/watch-omega-seamaster-omega-st-366-0845 and the only dial color options listed are silver or dark gray. However, when I look around on eBay I see many different dial colors that are far from the official list. Examples:

White (supposedly silver): https://www.ebay.com/itm/Omega-Vint...tic-Watch-Men-1020-Bracelet-Mens/264101089467
Blue-to-black: https://www.ebay.com/itm/OMEGA-Mens...lue-Dial-Day-Date-Square-Case-SS/123517387583
Salmon-ish: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Omega-Seamaster-omega-tv-Square-color-dial-i-70s-F-S-EMS-Japan/183565559837
Light blue to dark blue: https://www.ebay.com/itm/OMEGA-Mens...ster-Square-Case-Stainless-Steel/372526361661
Burgandy-to-black: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Omega-Seam...1020-TV-Day-Date-Automatic-watch/273399263974
Green: https://www.ebay.com/itm/OMEGA-Seamaster-TV-screen-antique-operation-in-from-japan-9381/113239063134
Pinkish gray: https://www.ebay.com/itm/OMEGA-SEAM...I-BEAT-1020-WRISTWATCH-GRAY-RARE/162868259333

How do I know what are re-dials and which are legitimate untouched pieces? I've tried all sorts of web searches for various combinations of "omega seamaster tv dial reference guide" and the like but there seems to be no comprehensive compilation of information that I can find. I was going to purchase some Omega specific books such as "From Seamaster to Seamaster" by Lacombe and "Omega Watches" by Negretti/Goldberger but the reviews veer more towards "nice coffee table book" rather than "extensive reference guide for people that want to dive deep".

Is there anyone out there with significant knowledge of this reference and can share some information with me? Thanks for your time.

Take a look at the "How to fish" sticky topic, should help you out.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I had read it a couple times and I appreciate the content. What I got out of it specifically for the questions I was asking is that there are too many variations to be cataloged from the time period that I am interested in, which is a bit of a letdown.

Something that jumps out at me from one of the examples I had found (the burgandy-to-black one) is the day wheel appears to be a different color than the date wheel. At least the seller does mention it in the description, "The calendar window is discolored. Needles, indexes and night light have been changed over time." What I'm getting from that is to stay away if originality is desired?

Regarding the green one, things look "off" there and my inexperienced eyes don't know definitively why. Crappy pictures, crown seems wrong (too big?), lume plots look weird, painted instead of metal border around the day/date window, logo looks weird?

The blue-to-black one looks great but has no lume plots at all? Is that a tell-tale sign of a full re-dial?

This one does seem legit and untouched, partially due to the reputation that the sellers has: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-OM...less-Automatic-Mens-watch-420497/254033033661

I’d be interested to learn about this too...great example recently sold in the OF private sales, although they did mention that these watches frequently have replacement service dials

Beautiful watches with a great vintage vibe

A variation, if you want to call it that, seems to be the 'SWISS MADE' text at the bottom of the dial. On some examples I see the words together under the 6 baton, and on other examples I see SWISS to the left of the baton and MADE to the right of the baton. Is one way vs another an indication of a redone dial? So many questions..

It was literally one year ago that I picked up a TV dial day-date Seamaster and posted on this thread:
https://omegaforums.net/threads/just-arrived-1970s-seamaster-day-date.68872/
As far as dial authenticity, I'm pretty sure mine is a re-dial, but I don't care because I wanted a blue sunburst dial and that's what I got. The authentic blue dials are flat blue that get darker at the periphery.
I think the authentic dials have matching colored inner bevel of the date/day window.

Did you ever figure this out? From looking at the Omega website, the writing needs to be close together and not spaced out...
