Thank you, Ash, for the pointer to the fun thread! The end of that thread, though, indicates that not all SMPP have long hands. And at least one thing of your watch is not original. To be sure, this in no way detracts from the fact that your watch is a rare and amazingly beautiful example.

The reason I stumbled on this thread was my searching for the seemingly elusive or non-existent ref. 2627 with cal. 355 COSC. Does a chronometered cal. 355 really exist?

The only ones found thus far with short hands have been messed with previously, one of the theories for the existence of SMPPs is the fact that a chronometer rated bumper with date wasn't made, and because all Constellations are chronometers, a deluxe date bumper constellation couldn't be made, so these are in existence.

    Absolutely stunning watch :)
My dad was gifted the Seamaster Pie-pan (pictured in this thread https://omegaforums.net/threads/inherited-watches.95308/#post-1238524) back in the 70's by a Mexican official. I never saw him wear it so I am thinking it sat in a safe for 40+ years, with the occasional outing to woo and awe me :).
