Seamaster & Seamaster Chronograph Bezel Interchangeable?

Hi all,

I'm new here and have a question I hope someone can help with.

I have a new to me 2598.80 Seamaster chronograph with the silver bezel insert.
I'd like to purchase another bezel with a blue insert (used, likely eBay) to be able to swap back and forth.
Most of what I see for sale come from a non chronograph Seamaster. Is there a difference in thickness between these bezels?
I know there is a tool and technique involved, and may have questions about that in the future, but I'd like to secure the parts before I mess with removing the bezel from my watch.

I don't think so, but I don't own a standard Seamaster.
They are both listed as 41mm afaik?
The ones I've seen in a display case looked identical in size to me, but idk, hence my question.
