In 1966 Omega had a mass spectrometer at their disposal to detect the tiniest leaks of helium. Think of what they do today.
I do enjoy it. Excellent reference and history. It's amazing how much one does not know about the company until you glance at this. Most boutiques have the so you can browse before you buy.
I think i bought the entire us stock all 30 of them i have 3 left! If you want one and your in the USA look here https://omegaforums.net/threads/10-omega-a-journey-through-time-book-the-omega-bible-3-left.11606/
Depends on what you want @CajunTiger .. if you want a speedmaster, you should get the Moonwatch Only book. AJTT is great for a very broad range of Omega timepieces. Both are excellent, but for speedies, MWO is really the only way to go. ..and keep a watch out for posts from DLT222, he can probably help with both!
I have the Moonwatch book...its great. My collection is all over the place, just started expanding into Omega a few years ago. This is what I have so far on Omega side:
Awesome collection CT! Love the grey banana! Tom Dick had one up for sale on the forum and I missed it. Think about it all the time!
The Omega Marine pictured with my reissue for company was first introduced in 1932. That was quoted as the first dive watch. Cartier and Tiffany bought these and resold them under their name. (Taken from the book of time. 1997)
