    Good morning,

    I am new to the forum.

    I recently acquired a Seamaster rubber strap, it looks quite well worn.
    I have tried googling all variations and can't quite match it with anything out there.
    I am hoping someone here can confirm whether this is in fact the genuine article?
    I don't want to put it up for sale otherwise.

    Please see attached photos.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Have you googled the part number on the end of the strap?

    That is the fake/reproduction version. The number is the same on both but the JAH is on the repo version as seen below. I have both the real and repo ones. here is an ad for the repo:

    98000085 is for the Seamaster Professional. 98000144 is for the Planet Ocean. So that's another clue it's a fake.
