    hello all,
After buying my third omega my grandfather decided to give me his old watch. Since his Brazilian I think that the red star is applicable, but during my research I didn’t find the exact dial so I don’t know.
I think the crown is a replacement since the case back is for sure not the original one.
The cal 267 looks ok to me.
    The dial is well patinated.
    Can you guys point something?
The original bracelet is also missing, do you guys the ref of the original bracelet?
    Thank you very much
    Erick

Movement is legit. Dial lacks 'swiss' at 6 so most likely a redial. Bracelet will have been leather I think.

What makes you think the case back & crown are replacements?
    Nice looking watch.

Is it not possible the case was made elsewhere? Similar to the many Dennison cased Omega's.

Generally they are still marked Omega.

Do you guys know if it’s possible to identify the correct crown? And if so, is it possible to order from omega or some AD?
    Thanks!

look, the complete case is non omega. that effects the value a lot. not sure to source an expensive crown is the way to go..... kind regards. achim

I’m not looking for a value here, this watch will be kept by me no matter what.
In my ignorance I thought only the case back was not original, but maybe it’s the whole case. If this is true then you are right, It’s not worth to get a crown. Maybe don’t do anything and keep it as it is or get an original case. My next step is to find that case though... any thoughts?

If you replace the case, is it still your grandfathers watch ?

WoW you made me feel so stupid now... but in a good way!
I wrote my message only thinking about how to get this watch correctly, but you just gave me a wow moment :)
This will stay as it is!
The only thing i’ll have to get a “new” one is the bracelet. I’ll look for one and post it here :)
I’ll put the mouvement off to a service, new strap and I think it’s the way to go!

Finding a bracelet that matches the colour of the gold case may be difficult and if you get a generic size, you risk chewing holes in the lugs.

A nice leather strap would look good on that watch, maybe a lighter brown or tan that won’t take the focus away from the dial.
