    Picked this up the other day, trying to find out how authentic it is. Movement looks good, all markings look good, serial number shows a 1984 circa but I cant figure out the case. Also can't find a picture of another Seamaster that looks like this.

    196.0260 case# 1420 cal.

    What you think? Value? Legit?

    It's a nice clean style that could be worn today and still hold its own.

    while it doesn't appear in the OVDB, I call it as genuine, but value would be relatively low.

    Who knows, maybe "vintage quarz" will become the next Omega collector grail.

    Value: maybe $150. Legit: yes, looks authentic.

    Um, yeah....... wouldn't bet on that. ;) :p

    Looks legit from what I can see on the Omega Extranet. Gold plated case, cal 1420, dial and hands look right.
