I live in Indonesia and just acquired 16-years old Midsize Seamaster Professional, felt so happy with it as it presented in Mint condition, When I bought I took it to an independet watch maker to have the caliber lubricated and have it checked for potential defects, and for a sixteen years old this watch looks like a virgin. Hearing that makes me so happy. So I decided to take it on a trip to little Krakatoa, and took it to skinny dive under the sea. and here's some shots I took with the Seamaster, it definitely feels at home. The blue bezel and wave dial shines brightly under water with the sun glaring above. It's ultimate tool watch for people who love the blue sea. and here's my favorite shot of the watch.
the Seamaster is really the master. it can survive pressure more than my ears haha,,, I'm not such a pro dive at all,
Great watch - I liked mine dearly... And I always thought that the 36mm is better proportioned as the 41mm
Oh, yeah: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krakatoa OP Nice watch BTW. Thanks for the pictures and stirring the memory.
cheers bro! travelling with omega is one helluva experience, brings millage of ownership to the watch by taking it to the nature. Next trip will be bromo and komodo islands
i have to agree, i have a small wrist and not so big posture, 36mm brings out discreet charm. when i first got it my gf complain it looks like a ladies watch, but after awhile she and i get used to the seamaster and consider it best compare to my Mako 42mm plus prince william wore the same size and it fits just fine. wear it and forget it.
I thought this was a "Lost my Seamaster in the Sea" thread. Great watch! I need to make it out there on vacation sometime
haha, I think so, whenever you get the chance to acquire one back, would be very awesome this is my first luxury (to me it is) watch I bought and I intend to keep it for long. cheers!
