Seamaster PO spring bar size?

IMG_2830.jpg I have Titanium SM PO. The riveted bar on the folding clasp broke. I got a new one, $300 for the little thing. I don't live near a AD, so I had the AD ship it to me to install myself. Either the jeweler or Omega sent the wrong size spring bar to go with this install. The spring bar they sent is standard size, it is the correct length, but wrong diameter. The one on the folding clasp is a smaller diameter. Anyone know exactly what diameter it is? Are the spring bars made of titanium too? I want to see if I can source one from a local Jeweler.

Show some pictures of the clasp and the spot where it is broken. A spring bar doesn’t cost $300, to have a spring bar replaced is $15 at my AD. Let’s make sure it’s the right part from the pictures first, and then go from there.

The broken part was the riveted rod that holds the two parts of the folding clasp together. It was $300 for those two parts riveted together. I just broke the spring bar removing it and the spring bar provider was too big in diameter.

If you want any help, you will need to provide more information, such as the clasp number, or reference for the entire watch.

Spring bars for clasps are different than normal bars. Call your local AD or Boutique, and ask them for the part number I’ve given you.

FYI,

My AD verified that they sent that part number. They spoke with Omega and the parts diagram is mislabeled. That part is 1.5mm and it needs to be 1.2mm.
