    Visited my wife's cousin on the weekend and look at the beautiful seamaster she brought out
    from the closet. It belonged to her late father who purchased the watch new in Italy before emigrating to Australia.

    Very common Australian box that Omega watches came in also. I was given a Omega years ago from a relative in the same style box.

    Yep, common in Australia, but all “Fab Suisse”, so could well be from the old country.

    Mine is also @JimInOz , as mentioned oblong ( rectangle for the younger generation ) boxes were common boxes for a lot of Omega styles sold in Australia, compared to the square boxes you may see most European watches of the same style come in.
