I would pony up the extra and get it from the AD. Agree with the piece of mind. But 2 years ago I got mine gray, 2022 production brand new for 4k even.

Well if it was from a grey it wasn't with a full Omega warranty, that is the definition of grey but maybe I misunderstand you.
