So after much searching wish looking, trying on, looking again, and again I take great pleasure in say I am now an Omega owner. My first, and hopefully not my last but I do think it will be a while before I am anywhere near purchasing another one any time soon. I'd also like to say thank you to the forum for all the input and help you and the members have given me. And an extra special thank you to a friend of mine who made it happen!

    And here it is!

Beautiful! Congrats on the first but not last acquisition i hope! Just curious, a bit of strange box there is. Expensive, elegant but classic, it seams to be a bit in visual and spiritual discrepancy with PO muscular appearance.

Hi Rominvicta, I am not overly familiar with the different boxes that they come in but did comment on it to the chap in the shop and he said it is the new design one as they used to use a red faux leather one. And the little number on the back of the white box denotes its a. Planet Ocean model. I hope that clarifies for you?

Hi Ryan77, surely it does. I did never doubt it is an original one, just wonder why does Omega spend a fortune for such like boxes when these boxes they always remain in the sideboard. In this case apart of being luxury the box is also a bit in discrepancy with the nature of piece. It would have been much better if they do something realtive to water...ocean..durability...water resistance... rathar than an expensive wooden box.
