Respectable Members After I have committed into buying a factory-original 300m, an old friend approached me, wanting to sell his black-dial 120m 166.073, which I think is in superb factory-original condition. Sadly, I cannot afford another watch at this time. What do you think of this watch and is my opinion, it is in superb factory-original condition correct? Thank-you.
Respectable Member pascs I think so too, since black is an uncommon dial color for the 120m. So far, I have seen several with the blue dial and this is the second one to appear in black. Thank-you.
Respectable Member cicindela Your kind assistance is much appreciated. I really cannot understand, whether there is something wrong with me or the machine. Sometimes I can upload pictures onto this forum, with ease. At other times, it is just impossible. Uploading on emails, always OK. Thank-you.
Respectable Member Littleroger He wanted to sell to me the watch, after coming to know from another friend of ours that I was looking for one. He wanted to give his Seamaster to his son but the young man prefers a new watch, instead. When I see him, some time over the weekend, I shall ask him whether or not he is interested in selling it. If so, I shall try to get more pictures and also, let you know. The watch has nice patina. Thank-you.
Respectable Member MyVintageOmega Getting an honest watch will soon become more and more difficult. Just compare this 120m watchco dial with luminova hour-markers and hands insert against the factory-original one with aged tritium. The watchco dial is awful, nauseating and tasteless, in my opinion. Thank you.
Respectful Member Seamonster, I agree, the above watch does not go well with me. It should have remained vintage. The new dial and hands look out of place.
Respectable Member Taddyangle Just to wear it for telling time, it is perfectly OK. However, to wear such a watch and hope to get the 'On top of the World' feeling, it will never come. Thank-you.
