Anyone else have a seamaster crown cone right off? Cause my 2264 just did after setting date Hoping jeweler can fix
I had a crown fall off and it was no big deal getting a new one put on. The hard part was finding it..... which I didn't!
Local watch maker .and no clue I set the date and it just didn't screw back in then the crown came off lol
I didn't take one But basically the crown came off and the stem was there with a spring still sticking in the watch
I don't think the crown came off the stem - I think the crown has failed and come apart. That would be the only way a spring would be visible. This will likely need a new crown, so unless the watchmaker happens to have one in stock, the 5-10 minute estimate is out the window...
Well this guy has had it since yesterday so we will see what happens It has a one year warranty through the buyer but by the time I ship back to Canada it gonna be a pretty penny
