    Anyone else have a seamaster crown cone right off? Cause my 2264 just did after setting date
    Hoping jeweler can fix

    Shouldn't be a problem for any watchmaker to fix.

    I had a crown fall off and it was no big deal getting a new one put on. The hard part was finding it..... which I didn't!

    That would depend on where you take it any why the crown came off in the first place.

    Local watch maker .and no clue I set the date and it just didn't screw back in then the crown came off lol

    I didn't take one
    But basically the crown came off and the stem was there with a spring still sticking in the watch

    I don't think the crown came off the stem - I think the crown has failed and come apart. That would be the only way a spring would be visible.

    This will likely need a new crown, so unless the watchmaker happens to have one in stock, the 5-10 minute estimate is out the window...

    Take it to a watchmaker with a parts account, and it could be fixed in a couple of days.

    Well this guy has had it since yesterday so we will see what happens
    It has a one year warranty through the buyer but by the time I ship back to Canada it gonna be a pretty penny

    It needs a whole new crown it's been ordered and will be done Monday
