Seamaster Cosmic advice.

Hi all,

Saw a Seamaster Cosmic today. Did a quick search, think it is a ref 166.026. Priced at about $230, €205. Good buy or is the condition a bit bad?

I am worried because the watch is not stamped with the Omega logo on the crown, and the back seems to have raken some rough wear and tear.

PS: Does someone know how the reference numbers differ between different colours? Or is it the same?

The gold plating on these Cosmic models is prone to wear and you often see cases in very poor condition. IMO you’re better off spending an extra $100-200 to get a piece that is in better condition. For example:

These are fairly plentiful in good condition, so I second what Vanallard said, wait for a better one.
