So, I was looking for a birth year watch (1986) and I came across this. It seems the 80s were not exactly a very nice period for Omega...

It's nothing fancy or anything, but just a daily beater which is selling down here for a decent price (USD200).

    What do you gentlemen think?

    Best,

    Paulo

Add another use for Krylon. (I'd take it.)

Cool watch! You can redo the coating as well if you like so. At the price it will at least make a tough daily beater!

I like it and at that price would definitely be a buyer.

Nice watch, certainly among the best that came out of Bienne in the mid 80s, which is not saying a lot ;-) Unfortunately the PVD (?) coating has faded on all those I've seen. Is it really that easy to have it redone?

What's the book you used for the pics?

I've just been pricing up a similar job on a very similar watch. Unfortunately the best price that my guy would refinish the case/bracelet for and apply a DLC would be 400 euro.
I found this too expensive and had to abandon the project

I'm planning to wear this to go to the beach, go fishing and so on, so I'm not thinking of redoing the bracelet. Or I might just use some Krylon. :D

Those are seller's pictures, but I'm guessing it's just an old ad rather than a book.
