Seller asking for $680.

He will replace the crown to the correct model.
Dial seems legit ... but please share your thought.

Thank you

Looks nice and original to me but others that have way more knowledge/experience will chime in I'm sure. As far as the price, no that is too buku...

I like it. If the guy is switching the crown does that mean he is a watch maker? Find out if it was serviced and if so then it looks like a decent deal. They ain't making these bumpers anymore so original examples will always be desirable.

After further review, serial 13110921 (made in 1952) should have bowler hat crown.
(and not clover)

So I passed.

I think he means beaucoup. It’s a movie reference from Full Metal Jacket. The petite Vietnamese prostitute refuses to service the soul brother because he is “too beaucoup.”

Looks fine to me. If you're not planning to flip it, and saving $100-$200 isn't going to change your life, then don't worry so much about the price. It's not an outrageous asking price. If you like it, and it's in your budget, go ahead and buy it.

It's just that currently I have 2 watches with wrong crowns (silver polerouter & seamaster cal 613).

I got the right crown for the seamaster from UK OF member.
The bowler hat crown seems a bit harder to source, so unless I got the watch for steal deal, I would prefer not to go through with hassle finding the correct crown on a watch.

That wasn't my experience, but it's your time and money.
