    I've been offered a Seamaster with a cal.503movement.

The dial has the "Meister" label above the Seamaster. I assume this means it was sold in Zurich by Meister and the serial # is in the 18 million range so I guess it was originally purchased in the early '60s. Does a label like this enhance or detract from a collector's point of view?

The inside of that caseback is different, but ah spos it could be authentic.

Most collectors would rather not have a dual branded (i.e.: the store and the manufacturer) dial, but in some instances they might not mind (Birks Eterna chronometers) and they might even be desired (Rolex Tiffany).

The base plate (area below the rotor) looks quite tired and worn out from the photo.
