Hi guys,

I recently purchased this rose gold capped Seamaster Calendar, cal. 503, ref. 2857/2856.

One thing that’s a Mistery is the internal bezel(between crystal and dial); I couldn’t find more examples like mine on the forum.

Any suggestions on what’s going on here?

Looks like someone put a regular size 2849 ref Seamaster calendar dial in a jumbo reference, and the internal bezel is to fill the gap.
