Hello to you all! Have an offer for buying vintage seamaster bumper . It seams to be in great condition. Does this watch look ok to you, and what is the price range for that vintage watch. Have just few wrist shots. Thanks Ivan
Everything looks very good on the outside. Price depends much on the metal of the case. Looks like it's a solid gold case so its value is the gold value plus a few hundred dollars. Also the watch on the background seems very interesting and may be more valuable even though it's not all solid gold. Good luck.
Thanks for answering me. It is solid gold. And the watch behinde is two tone Movado . I am not familiar with Movado watches. My friend selling his collection. Few more watches.
The "S" shape in Seamaster should IMHO look like this one, I think the dial has been redone. But nice watch
Dial looks original to me and in nice condition. Here'a a pink gold capped version I sold a while back.
The IWC looks like a Ref. 1828. Good entry level IWC. Several members have these, including me. The Omega Constellation is a Ref. 368.0845. Very nice example with original crystal. This style is a sleeper and I've been seeing value on these rise in the last year. Was wearing mine today. Movado gold chronographs are not my thing, but I'm sending a bat-signal to @Thomas P., who is the forum expert on that watch. The Bauhaus Longines is a desiresble model as well. Guess I'm second on the "dibs" list for that one. The Seamaster look OK to me. The others are all nice as well. Your friend has good taste in vintage watches. Hope this helps, gatorcpa
My friend is one old man. 70 Years . He was collecting all tip of watches . Speciali Omega and Iwc. He have very big pocket watches collection, also wall and oder tip watches. He donated many watches to frends and relatives. I am also looking to buy from him Iwc Cal. 89 (47year) and 8541b both yellow gold dress watches. He will only left one Speedmaster Cal.321 for his grandson. Sori for bad english. Ivan One more Longines picture, a dial is little damage at the bottom.
I like how similar the case and lugs are to my Eterna, which is probably about the same age as that beauty The dial on that one isn't without flaws either
Yes very similar case, hands and crown. And the size also. Eterna looks beautiful! and in good condition. I like symmetry and simplicity of any Watch. And the damage for that age is normal I think. My friend never washed hands with watch. He said when on watch writes 50 m water resistant that mean stay away 50 metars from any water. Thanks for reply. Cheers!
