Hi I'm considering adding an Seamaster Aqua Terra to my collection. Would be interested to know what people think of that piece. Thanks in advance
I like mine. Try the OF search function. There's all sorts of good stuff to read and learn. have fun kfw
I think the Aqua Terra is an awesome piece, I love the detail in the dial. And I think it can be dressed up or worn casually, very versatile.
I’ve got the teak dial version, one of the most versatile watches in the Omega range, dress it up or dress it down! As for size, go to your local AD and try a few as they should stock them
I see the Aqua Terra is on sale and are discounted at some ADs. I did wonder if that was an indication of lack of sales, or simply an Omega sales promotion on this particular range ?
Omega watches tend to be discounted at AD's all the time with very few exceptions. Nothing to do with lack of sales or a sales promotion. The boutiques don't discount though.
Thanks for the clarification. I understand from my local AD in the UK that they will offer a "shop" discount on the Speedy I'm going to purchase soon. The Aqua Terra's however are openly discounted at several AD's, with sales promotions on their websites offering reductions in the region of £1k off the RRP. I wish they had the same open discounts on the Speedmaster range.
Absolutely love mine. Managed to get a 20% discount from Ernest Jones, told them I was just looking and was going to buy at the airport and they offered the same discount there and then!!
This is mine. Blu dial 39.2 mm. I've preferred the oldest version for the brushed bracelet, the thin case and...the price. It's been in my collection for almost ten years!
I had the old teak version that I ended up selling. It wore larger than I liked but it's a lot of watch for the money.
I had a 38.5mm white dial for 2 years. Stunning piece in my opinion, solid and affordable, I regret that I sold it so just go with it
