Seamaster Aqua Terra with diamonds

This is my first Omega I picked up a few years back. A Seamaster Aqua Terra 150 M Co-Axial 38.5 mm Men's Watch 231.10.39.21.55.001.

What I find interesting is the imbedded diamonds. Granted, these are small diamonds, and they give just the right amount reflection, not gody at all. In fact, you may not have noticed them unless pointed out.

Mother of pearl dial.

Is it just the photo, or is the teak pattern inverted as well? Interesting!

Not sure what you mean inverted. The vertical teak “decking”on the mother of pearl dial are now horizontal in the new models.

Sorry, I mean this looks like the lines are raised (as opposed to the "planks").

Yes, they are raised. Not sure if applied or cut into the dial.

In the picture, it is the thin and lighter colored lines that are raised, the darker planking being recessed below.

Nice model, used to have the other diamond dial style with the red Seamaster label
