Hi everyone,

I’m hoping to get some help identifying and valuing an Omega watch that’s been in my family for quite some time. Here’s what I know and see about the watch:

• Type: Women’s Omega watch

• Details: Gold diamonds and gemstones but no visible model number or serial number on the case back.

• Box & Papers: Unfortunately, the original box and papers were lost a long time ago.

• Condition: It’s in great condition, but I’m not sure about the age or model.

I’ve attached some photos from different angles to help with identification. Let me know if there are specific details or close-ups that would be helpful.

Any guidance on identifying this watch or advice on next steps to determine its value would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time and expertise!

What the purpose of the valuation? If you are actually looking to sell, I wouldn't expect to get more than the value in gold and gems. Ladies cocktail watches have little collectible value. If it has sentimental value and you're looking to insure it, that's a different story, but TBH, I'd recommend skipping the insurance and renting a safe deposit box instead.

You’ll need to have the case-back removed to take a photo of the inside to get the model and calibre but these are not in much demand due to ladies watches being very much of their specific era and not aging well. It’s probably worth the gold weight plus a small amount or there about.

That looks like a lapis lazuli dial, probably blue sapphires, and the bezel appears to have full cut diamonds. This is a cocktail watch, best suited to casual best wear. I assume either 14 karat or 18 karat gold. Finding that one buyer for whom the style is right will likely be difficult. Anybody other than that one person would likely value it at melt value. That would be a shame. Nobody in your sphere of friends or relatives might appreciate it?
