I have been really interested in this reference and presently on a trip through Europe....Today went into the Omega Boutique in Venice and they had one in stock, tried it on and loved the fit and feel....When discussing price, the Boutique would not discount the watch, they noted I would save 18% on the sales tax reducing the price from 33k Euro to around 27k, however I thought there would be potential for a further reduction on the watch retail price outside of tax as well, but alas no dice....I did not think this reference would be in 'demand' and further discount on the actual watch outside of tax would be possible....
Should I be expecting a discount on such references in Europe or is it standard policy not to discount...? I will also spend a few days in Munich and Geneva, perhaps better luck to be had there ? Would be grateful for anybody with some insight... Thanks...
