seamaster America cup omega

Good morning
A work college want to sell me his Seamaster limited addition America cup omega, he his offering it to me for £2,000 comes with all the paper work date of purchase was 2003. The watch was services 2 years ago but can’t confirm as there’s no paper work to back this up .
My question is what's the Seamaster worth am I getting a bargain ?

The watch serial number matches the model, so at least those things are correct (if the serial number on the card matches the watch). This has the F. Piguet based Omega Cal. 3303 inside. If it was serviced, best to make sure it was done by someone with access to Omega parts (and someone familiar with this movement), as several improvements were made to this movement over the years and upgrades need to be done on most of them that cross my bench.

Not everyone will take these on for servicing, so if it hasn't been serviced or hasn't been serviced properly, might be an expensive service...

Once these are upgraded they are quite reliable movements in my experience.
