I know rare is a term thrown around far to often in the vintage watch world but I think this qualifies.

Most of the dials in this style are simply repainted. There’s also the Companion and Technic type dials that are uncommon but pop up every few months.

These are much less frequently seen. I’ve been looking for a good while and this was the first I’d seen for sale. Having a good look this morning, through an original a very crazed crystal, I’m happy it’s a factory original dial and it’s truly beautiful. Now to see if I can salvage the crystal...

Very nice! Crystal looks like a bit of Polywatch should bring it back nicely.

The full numerals make it appear older than it is to me, which I quite like. Congrats!

A light wet sand will take out what poly can’t.
This is a very cool watch, I assume it is still in the family of “technical” dials but haven’t seen this variant before.

I’ve seen a handful of this variant before. Omega Enthusiast has one (albeit with different hands) and I’ve seen a couple elsewhere. I actually thought I get outbid but thankfully managed to snag it.

The crystal has crazing that seems to be within the actual glass rather than on the surface. I’ll give it a better go but it might be toast.

Very nice watch. I like the 600 series, lots of different dial variants. Never seen a dial like that before, must be quite rare indeed.

I haven’t seen one of those before without text on the dial. Is it still blue/soleil effect or black?

it's black. I believe there's a white version too.
