[IMG][IMG]Hi, I'm new to this forum.(I posted an earlier post but I think it was in the wrong section).
I've only just started collecting vintage Omega's and it's becoming quite addictive.
I have just purchased a Vintage SeaMaster which I have been assured is 100% original and genuine, i.e. Original crystal, crown, dial and movement.I purchased it from a jewellers in florida.
It has a 552 movement and case number is 14765 3 SC.
The bezel is 14k Gold and case and back stainless steel.(unishell case)
I paid $600, the jewellers wanted $795. ( I know I paid quite high but I wanted this movement and design as well as original condition so I hope it wasn't too much).

I will attach some pictures, any opinions or information is appreciated.

Regards Ken n thanks in advance.

Hi Ken. $600 is a decent price for that watch. $795 wouldn't even have been out of the question nowadays. It looks to be correct to me, including the crown. I see you did your homework if you knew to call these front loaders "unishell" cases.

Thanks, it's good to hear I paid a reasonable price ;) Ha ha, I've become addicted to research, I found out it was a unishell after I purchased it as I wanted to look at the movement and realised I couldn't get into the case.
What would we do without Google, eh...
