But is there anybody who has the 2800 movement on his arm on an everyday basis who has experience with the wear and tear and service intervals involved in such a scenario? And does the wear tend to extend to parts beyond those covered by the "fixed" service price adding surprises to Omega's estimates?

Do you mean 2500 movement or 8800?
I can't tell you what service interval people are getting for the 2500, but I do know that any high wear parts will be replaced by Omega upon a standard service. The only parts that would not be replaced as part of the standard service would be the bezel and dial. Hands, crowns, gaskets, and any movement parts (if required) are replaced as part of the standard service price.
If you're talking about the 8800, it's my daily watch which I do everything with. Plumbing, cutting metal, carrying stuff, moving boxes and furniture around, etc.
I've had it on since July 2022, and as @502 to right said, anything in the movement, crown, gaskets, etc short of the case, bracelet, crystal and bezel will be serviced by Omega on a regular service without additional charges.
Yes. Thanks. I'm actually asking if I will generally get something like 8 years service interval without rotation, constant wearing. Did you ever have it serviced and if so was it on the earlier side of the recommendation? And was it pretty eaten up inside? .

As @YY77 referred to mine was recently serviced, you pay the fee and you get a nearly new watch back. No extras charged for the fixed service (you can see this on the service section of the Omega website). As far as I understand if they find any exceptional issues you are consulted prior to work and can have the watch returned.
Mine was worn every day 24hours including showering, washing etc apart from a few days when I wanted to wear something smaller.
For how many years before service in your case with a constantly worn watch?
