Seamaster 300m from Black to Blue

    Hi Guys, i have Seamaster 300m Quartz in black color. So i would like to swithc to blue color, what do you think...should I:

    1. Trade or sell and buy (for) blue dial?
    2. Buy dial and bezel in blue?

    Buy the blue in automatic.Quartz watches are a pain because the battery runs out every couple of years.

    First option is best, if you're also finding the battery changes inconvenient then exchange it for an automatic model like Om3ga321 said.

    Bezel and dial change is a hassle really, may as well get a new watch for that.

    Do you have experience working on watches? Not sure I’d want to practice on a seamaster—even if it is a quartz.

    Ever owned one? A reasonbly modern quartz Omega like the SMP can go for 6-7 years between batteries. The auto may need servicing more often that that. I have both auto and quartz flavours of SMP, they both have pluses and minuses.
