That looks really cool. I’ve always liked my Seamaster 300M, but the Summer Blue colorway is especially sharp - great summer watch. Was looking to upgrade too. Is the Blue or Black better?
The summer blue is beautiful. I find the metal bracelet kind of sharp (as in cutting you if you touch it). But the pin buckle rubbers seems ugh. I have the dark blue with rubber strap. I also got the blue leather pin buckle and a blue nato pin buckle strap. I really prefer a butterfly buckle. Not sure how to go about getting one of those.

But to answer your question, I think blue looks better than black on almost any watch and the summer blue is really sharp. I don't own many black watches, though I have the Speedmaster Moonwatch, but I do have at least 2 watches with a blue dial.

I've noticed allot of people say that about the newest version of the SMP300 5 link bracelet, I personally find that the new version of the SMP300 5 link bracelet to be quite comfortable, and I wear my watches quite tight. I find the new version of the SMP300 5 link bracelet is just as comfortable to the classic Goldeneye SMP300 5 link bracelet. I'm not fan of butterfly clasps as they tend to pinch my skin everytime I put them on.

To be honest all the colors of the newest version of the SMP300 Diver look great in person. I do find that the regular blue seems more like a holiday watch rather than a daily driver, I find the Summer Blue to be fitting as an daily driver, as the color of watch changes according to the light source or how the light reflects of the watch.
