I love my 300m. It's a 2531.80. But lately I have been searching for GMT watches. I am wondering about the difference in thickness between my 2531 and the 2535.80 GMT. Also, the 2535 uses a different movement - a 2628 versus the 1120 movement in the 2531. Any comments on the movement or size difference? Other than the 2535 having the GMT function, and other real differences?

The Cal. 1120 in your 25318000 is a Swiss lever escapement, where the 2628 in the GMT is a co-axial version of the Cal. 1128. I can't say about case thickness but the 25358000 has the case listed at 43.75 mm in diameter, where the 2531800 lists the case at 43.5 mm, so it's about the same size diameter wise.

If you want a co-axial watch then this is fine (I would try for one with the D version of the movement if possible) but if you want to stick to a Swiss lever movement then the 22345000 or 25382000 are your other options. But they are not blue, but black and white respectively.

    Cheers, Al

2535 thickness is 14.5mm (used to have one, measured it with my caliper). 2531 is like 11.5mm or so according to what I have seen on the web (don't own one)
