Fratello seems to be producing articles in some of the older Seamaster 300s.

Do we think it’s due for refresh this year? The cynic in me thinks this could be the case.

I have heard rumours Omega are producing a tapered bracelet but due next year.

Personally don't care for the bracelet. Bought both of mine on the strap and have since added the awesome Bond 60th Anniversay mesh.

What I would like is for them to up the power reserve. Cheaper Tudor's offer more.

Agree about the bracelet -- weirdly uncomfortable and I always used the strap on mine. I don't mind the 55h PR so much but when Tudor. Rolex and others offer 72 hours and Oris/ IWC / others120, the 8800 and 8900 seem a bit behind the pace. Even the revamped Sellita Sw300x movements are now in the 50s and 60s.

But both of mine have been rock-solid. Can't say the same for my 323x.

I don't care for the power reserve. I have the watch on my wrist or in a drawer. Never really understood what a power reserve was used for. It just became a d... size contest between brands.

Besides that, the next Diver 300 is probably coming. If not this year, soon. I can't see how Omega could stick with this 42 x 14 size watch. I hope at least two sizes of choice.

A good idea would be a solar 1s a year quartz version. Works well for Tag or Cartier. Modern, cheaper, thin and all. And a power reserve for days 😀

They changed already a few things. It’s the new case/crown already and a little difference in cal 8800. I hope they will change the bezel paint engraving in the next edition. It’s a bit shame to get uncolorized bezel after some time wchich I don’t get in my cheaper ceramic bezel watches..

IMHO the reference is overdesigned and in need of a refresh. At a minimum, the bracelet should taper.

If they were to make something smaller than 42 x 14 what movement would the stick in that? Would a co axial, double barrel fit in a smaller case? Would Omega develop a new movement for a new slimmer Seamaster? The long awaited 2254 re-issue.....

There are so many Seamaster variations, surprising they haven’t run out of ideas by now.

I want a refresh (or a smaller size option) as much as the next person, but isn't it a little soon for that? Didn't the current model just come out in 2018?
