Been in touch will the seller of this seamaster 300 , the seller is saying the watch it 100% original. it's been checked out by a local watchmaker and he purchased it from a local millionaire from his privet collection mmmm. Means nothing to me if he's a millionaire or not it's the watch I'm interested in . my concerns it that I think the bezel has been repainted and the dial and hands have been re-lumed . All comments gratefully received
    Thanks OF members .

Well for starters that's a fake dial and I wouldn't go any further.

Wasn't this recently discussed already? Wrong movement also, 565 has a date.

I did think the spacing in between the T T at the 6 o'clock was a bit spaced out .
Thanks for the head up , won't be bidding on this one .

The easiest tell on this dial are the closed 6 and 9 and the so called “stubbies”: the thin white lines coming out on the outside of the lumed hour markers, real dials don't have them.

the plot thickens !! ::stirthepot:: I emails the guy selling the wactch this was his response : the watch was authenticated be a local omega store in
Eastbourne and to top it off he purchase the watch from a local millionaire this watch was a part ofhis personal collection , now this it where it gets interesting the sellers name that i won't say at this time for reasons ill go in to later has the same name as the servise technician at this omega store might just be coincidence but something smells fishy there, will update after a speak to the store manager today.
PS : i will update the other thread with the same information as here .

I wouldn't waste any more time on the watch, which is a fake, or the seller, who is a liar
