I appreciate your directing me to the link. I am sure it is a lovely watch.

Unfortunately, I have already closed a deal to buy an Omega Seamaster diver model reference 166.024 with big triangle and date. This watch was referred to me, by an expert of vintage Seamaster diver watches, who co-incidentally is also a respectable member of this forum. Otherwise, I would brought the referred item to the attention of other respectable forum members in this forum, for their opinions.

God willing, I will have this factory-original example on my wrist, late next week. When it is with me, I shall take more pictures of the watch, to share with other respectable members here, who are into vintage Seamaster diver watches.

Once again, I thank you and also, other respectable forum members for their invaluable advice and concern. Otherwise, I would have already landed with a dud, some while ago.

Thank-you.

No problem at all...........Congrats with your acquisition.......... what a stunning watch you have there.

HUGE congrats Seamonster.

Much appreciated and I think the congratulations should go to the respectable forum member who pointed this watch to me, as well as, those who caused me to avoid the bad and ugly examples.

It is not mine as yet, till late next week.

Thank-you.

Much appreciated and also, I am thankful to you for directing me to the link. Unfortunately after this one purchase, my wallet has slimmed down. Otherwise, I would have also pursued the one you kindly bring to my attention. It is a wonderful piece, I think. Hopefully, one of our family-members will show interest in it.

Thank-you.

Much appreciated and please do not forget, you are instrumental to my acquiring this little princess. Had it not been for your invaluable advice and concern, as well as, other respectable forum members of this forum, I would have been stranded with something, not worth a second glance.

Because of you and other respectable forum members, I extend my patience limit and like what you now discover, it pays.

Whatever, the patina of this little princess is several light years away, relative to what you have. Yours is a collector's dream, while the little princess will one day grow up to become like yours, patina-wise.

Thank-you.

You bagged one! GREAT! 👍

I am thankful to you and your well-informed comrades for guiding me to see the difference between the good, the bad and the ugly Seamaster diver watch, in particular the 300m mod ref 166.024. Without the helpfulness and guidance of the respectable forum members here, I will still be totally ignorant in this subject.

For bagging a great one hopefully, credit goes to Omegaforums.net & Co.

Thank-you.

Honorable Seamonster,
Having followed your long quest for this watch along with numerous others here, having watched your steadfast refusal to settle for less then your dream, despite admonitions and impatience clearly shown by the audience, I am reminded of the words spoken many decades ago by a man on a small Island in the middle of a great war.
"Never give in. Never give in. Never, never, never, never -- in nothing, great or small, large or petty -- never give in, except to convictions of honor and good sense. Never yield to force. Never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy"'
WInston Churchill.

Much appreciated.

It is the great advice of respectable forum members, including you, has made my dream of getting a factory-original time-piece, possible. Initially, it did not occur to me there are hundreds, if not thousands, of molested examples, frankens and fakes floating around. Had I not been guided, more than likely, I would have become a shameful owner of a counterfeit 300m Seamaster diver of the 60s.

Thank-you.

Much appreciated.

What a great saying by Sir Winston Churchill, you have posted. Unlike him, I would have yielded and resigned to a second best 300m,

In view of my ignorance but the desire to get something that is factory-original, I use to my advantage, the honesty, integrity and informed knowledge of respectable enthusiasts and experts like you, in this forum. It is not totally unexpected, a tall order will be met with some form of mild admonitions and impatience. My perseverance pays but credit goes to all the respectable respondents of this post in particular and all other respectable forum members in general.

Thank-you.
