Hi guys!

Been lurking here for a while now...but can’t seem to find any threads on this so perhaps you guys can help me out!

I have been thinking about the Seamaster 300 MC for a while now but I do think it’s slightly too shiny (mostly center links) but perhaps also the bezel.

I fell over a thread on tz regarding bleaching bezels (http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.php?366855-Bezel-Bleaching-Experiment) which made me think it would be a perfect look for the Seamaster as it would match the tritium-dial-look.

My question is if anyone ever thought the bezel would look better if less shiny and slightly faded? And with a weathered leather strap it would look...perfect?

Also I kinda see the whole thing being a mod with little risk of misleading people should it ever being flipped - agree?

You would need some sort of custom/aftermarket aluminum bezel. Bleaching ceramic doesn't work.

I don't have one, but doesn't the Seamaster have a ceramic bezel? I think that would be a tad hard to bleach.

Ahhh...I actually was thinking about if it was ceramic or not after I posted...hmmm might need to rethink it unless it’s an aftermarket component
