Seamaster 300 Co-Axial

I had been wanting to get back into an Omega and when I saw the Seamster 300 Co-Axial, I pretty much knew that would be the one. The only aspect of the watch I did not care for was the center polished links of the bracelet. I asked the dealer where I bought the watch if he could have a watchmaker create the same finish as the outer links of the bracelet. Let me know what you think as I am very happy with the look. What do I like about the watch? Well, just about everything. The dial and style is fantastic as I had an old Seamaster 300 many years ago and was always attracted to that look. The movement is beautiful, and the fit and finish of the watch is so high quality. I know many people will miss the date window but I am really pleased Omega decided to leave it out as having the three, six, nine, and twelve, gives such great balance to the look. Here are some shots of my watch:View attachment 110526 View attachment 110527 View attachment 110528 View attachment 110529 View attachment 110530 View attachment 110531 View attachment 110532 View attachment 110533

I have the blue but I do like this very much it keeps a more vintage feel. This is all I wear. Hats down of the divers in my opinion. I thought the dreaded no date was going to be an issue but since I always have my phone with me it's not s concern. The watxh takes you back to the heritage too.

Cool watch mate, love it! The brushed look will make it easier to maintain for you and keep it looking sharp and fingerprint free, it does give it more of a vintage feel too.

Congrats on the watch, really love the look of the brushed links. That's how the watch should have come.

Ditto the love for the current brushed look. IMO for toolishness the display caseback ought to go too, but doubt that'll be something Omega is keen on in this day and age.

My son said to me that watch was "blingier" than he expected. May 5 years from now after I've banged the hell out of it, I'll get it brushed like this

i might be the only one but, I do prefer PCL.
I love mine the way it is. I'm just wondering how it will hold up over time. Awesome watch. Hopefully you get things straightened out with boutique and can wear yours!!

Nope, you're not the only one but we're certainly in the minority! The polished flat links complete the vintage look in my opinion.

That said, congrats to the OP and enjoy it! Brushed or polished, it looks awesome either way.

I've never understood the angst these PCL's have brought out on the forums - takes 10 minutes tops to brush the bracelet...and as you can see it looks fine brushed.

I actually like PCLs a lot, but I also own rattlesnake skin boots so that probably doesn't fall in their favour.

I like both Versions.the AT Mcx looks great with them. For the smp300 the tool watch look is enhanced on the brush. Polished center links is quite a classic look though

Bold move! It looks great. Who will be the first to hit the top of the lugs too 馃槈?
I will stay with camp Wabi-Sabi, however, and let the PCLs brush themselves.

You need to try one on. I wasn't impressed until I saw it in person. They're awesome!
