Seamaster 300 166.024 Need Help

Hello everyone, I’m new to the forum and I’d like your opinion if possible. I have the opportunity to purchase a Seamaster 300 Ref. 166.024, but I have some doubts—particularly about the bezel. The number 1 doesn’t have the usual serif but looks more like a straight “I.” I’ve found other examples with similar numbers, but none exactly the same; on this one, the numerals seem larger and less defined. I’m also unsure about the crown and the fact that it doesn’t have the “big triangle.” What do you think? Thanks.

It’s fake and has been artificially aged to look old and mask the fact it was made very recently.
Only the movement is genuine (and in terrible condition)

Ok, so you think dial, back case, everything it's fake except movement?

Ok, I understand that Davidt is an expert with years on the forum and is most likely right, but is it possible to get a second opinion?

I missed your question, apologies.

To be honest, when you know what an original looks like it’s easy to spot the fakes but it does take time to get your eye in. This is one of the newer generation of fakes that’s appeared in the last few years. It used to be ‘stubbies’ and ‘pointed A’s’ we’re clear, easy tells, but it’s more the overall watch with the newer ones. There are some tells but I’m afraid I’m now going to list them on a public forum and potentially help counterfeiters improve.

Okay, thanks. Honestly, I was thinking about an aftermarket bezel and the wrong crown, but I would have never thought it was a complete fake with an original movement.
