Hi All For sale is my nice Omega Seamster 300 166.024, dating from Jan 1969, delivered to the Netherlands, with Omega Extract. Perhaps a great present for a 50 year old Dutchman? I have enjoyed wearing this watch, it is really rather nice, and the only reason for the sale is that I have bought a gilt dialled 1963 version, so I am letting this one go for exactly what I paid for it around 2 years ago. The watch - Case is in good condition, usual aged related scratches, looks to me to be unpolished. The bezel is really very nice, with out any chips, dents or amazingly, any cracks - The dial is good, with nice lume colour, as are the hands. Although the hand lume is a slightly different shade, I am assured by those who know more than me about these, that this does happen, and as I far as I know, they are all original - It has the original crystal and I am assuming the original crown. - I have it on a nice lightly worn suede strap, and it will also come with the shown turned new tan quick release leather strap (or black if you prefer). Will also send it in an Omega service carry case. Sale Terms I am asking £4000 net via PayPal FF or bank transfer/transferwise. For normal Paypal please add 3%. This includes insured, fully tracked and signed for courier shipping the UK and EU. Happy to split shipping costs to rest of the world. I have references here both as a buyer and seller, let me know if you want these. I am happy to take returns within one week of you receiving the watch, but return shipping at your cost. Trade: I am also willing to consider trades, with cash in either direction as appropriate, for a blue dial Tudor Snowflake, a Rolex Explorer 214270 or a Jaeger Reverso Grande Thank you!
All original conditions. Extract. Bezel without cracks. Sharp case. Nice dial. Very good price. GLWS! PS a picture of the Seamonster will help the sale.
Thank you! Yes - I just realised I forgot to add a photo of the back of the case and movement - will upload later today...that’s what happens with late Sunday postings after a bottle of wine in the rare English sun...
Movement shot now added I also found a cool unworn Expandro flat link bracelet that came with it that I’ll throw in - it dates from the late 60s, is staineless steel and from West Germany (label on the back) and is similar to the Omega ones and also stretches a little. There are little bits on the end links that should be clipped off so it will fit the 20mm lugs.
Bump - and price reduced to £4000 for a quick sale as I have an incoming... other T&Cs apply... Will be here until next weekend and then off to eBay...
