Seamaster 300 165.014 relisted & reduced to 5.5k GBP

I took this piece in about 12 months ago as part of a trade and am now making room for another purchase. It’s for the head only but comes with the box, extract and service card.

The bezel is original but has been refinished by Rene and aged to match the watch.The pip has been relumed with a tritium compound and glows/fades exactly like the markers/hands and consistently with a watch of this age. Personally I quite the like contrast but you could get it relumed to match the markers and hands. The lume on the dial and hands is all original.

The case doesn’t have any major flaws however it obviously has some wear which is commensurate for a 58 year old watch that has been worn regularly.

The watch is accompanied by an Omega extract which dates it from 1966. The full movement number has been obfuscated but will be shared with any genuine buyers.

The service history is unknown although it keeps good time. The movement looks clean and there’s a bunch of service marks on the case back.

I’m asking for gbp 8k which includes worldwide shipping. Payment method - Bank wire or as agreed. If you aren’t happy with the purchase then you have a week to return it, less any shipping costs.

Forgot to mention that I’ve also installed new ruby spheres so the bezel functions perfectly. Due to the size they were a bugger to get them lined up. It was like one of those puzzle games.

Bump and a new photo given the sun is shining today.

I’ve been wearing this and have started to get attached to it. I’ve ended the eBay listing but in fairness to anyone that is still interested on the forum I’m going to keep it advertised for another fortnight. Jump in before it goes back in the collection.
