Hi. I have for some month looked for an Omega from 1963 (my birth year ) I'm looking at this Seamaster 30. To me it looks original. But the dial is quite "white". Is it fake or repainted.
The "Seamaster" writing looks a bit off as well, it seems pretty uneven. Finn, I'm guessing you're Danish? If you'd like to, I'd be happy to help you in Danish, should you require more help with verifying other finds It's a pretty big world out there, watch-wise, and it's easy to take a wrong step. BTW, even though the dial has been refinished, I don't find it unattractive. Just be aware that it won't garner any interest from "serious" collectors. -Troels.
