    I recently picked up a Seamaster with a loose movement. I opened it up to see out what was going on and noticed that the small tabs that I believe hold the movement in the case appear to be broken off. Any idea how this would happen? Is fixing it as easy as having my watchmaker install new tabs?

    First two images are the watch with the issue. The last one is another 2846 of mine with the tabs appropriately in place.

    It looks like the case clamps are broken. Not sure how that happened, but it should be an easy fix. Hopefully the broken pieces haven't caused any problems.

    I thought so. Glad it’ll be an easy fix.

    Here’s a pic of the better looking side by the way. Quite nice I think.

    Nice nice nice. Here is mine with same cal/reference and with a very similar dial layout (mine has a gilt dial though).

    As you probably know, the vast majority are re-dialed, so be careful ... and patient.
