Hi guys,

I bought this watch back in 2013 and wore it quite rarely.
I accidentally came across a thread in your forum and decided to find out if the watch is original?
Was this type of dial installed on 2759-5 sc 2761 cal.420
From what I already spotted, there is no omega logo on the glass
Thank you very much for your advice.

Depends on your definition of original - case and mechanism look fine but the crosshair should extend all the way to the edge of the dial (there are exceptions to this rule). The crystal has probably been replaced with a generic one.

That case looks to have received a heavy polish as the facets on the lugs are rounded and lost their definition. The movement, surface around the movement, and inner caseback are also quite filthy. Comparatively, that dial is quite clean. Admittedly, I’m inexperienced in vintage pieces like this, but this combination is suspect to me and would raise flags on originality of the dial (IE, being redialed).
