I'm starting one of my periodic small sell-offs today with this charming black waffle Omega Seamaster 2577. The Seamaster 2577 was introduced in 1949 and is one of the classic Seamaster references from Omega's golden age and comes with many different dial designs. Mine here dates to the early 50's. The gold top and stainless steel 34.5mm case is in very good shape and has its period correct clover crown with the old logo. On the steel screw back is a personalised engraving dating to 1954. The calibre 354 with 13.4 million serial from approx '52 is winding, setting and running well. It is keeping good time although has not been serviced whilst in my couple years of ownership. The beautiful black waffle dial with sharks tooth indices and arabic 12 marker is in excellent condition with no blemishes or damage. Original lume on both the dial and hands. This watch came to me from the first owner's family in Australia and I don't like to use the word 'tropical' but there are certainly some lovely brown tones to the blackness. Fitted to a nice, thin and vintage black lizard strap with gold tone buckle. €975 net to me will include worldwide Track&Trace shipping. Payment by bank transfer or PayPal for well established forum members only. Any questions?...Just ask!
Who was saying something about a soft market? Oh yeah- people with mediocre watches and unrealistic expectations. This is how you do it!
