I have been looking for a 2264.50 or 2254.50 for a while now ... and not finding anything local. I would only be comfortable buying something this expensive from one of the longtime members here. I know I missed one that sold recently .....

The modern Seamasters sit too tall on my wrist and seem larger ( too large ! ) and the skeleton hands just are not my cup of tea.

I wanted to ask if any of you can point out similar nice non-Omega divers with sword hands that have similar size and thickness of the 2254.50 and 2264.50 that I might consider while I wait for my 22xx.50 to appear.

Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure if you are interested in skeleton hands or sword hands, but the 2254.50 has sword hands. As an alternate, you may consider a CWC Royal Navy. Your strap options on it are limited to single piece or pilot style leather, since it has fixed bars, but it is a nice option while you wait.

My recommendation is to keep hunting for the 2254.50. Don’t waste your money on a watch you don’t really want, and put that money towards the best 2254.50 you can find. Skip the 2264.50 too!

Thanks Duc. Oops, I edited my post. It is sword hands I prefer ...

i have not seen a CWC but the band limitation is unfortunate. Thanks for the suggestion !
