    Hi all,
I'm the original owner via gift of a 90's quartz Seamster 200m 36mm.
The dial and hands have deteriorated and I'm considering replacement or repair. It's in daily use..

I'm seeing many of these in minty shape on ebay for $500-$700 and have no idea of what repair would cost and whether it's worth it or should I buy a replacement that would not have the significant sentimental value?

Wondering if anyone has any recommendations thoughts or prior experience to share?
    Thank you s-l1600.jpg

    I own this one:

Its a 2584-2480-1 from the late 40s. I was offered to "repair" the dial and replace hands (by the watchmaker) because they "look too old and are damaged". I did not. Just my 2 cents. If you like vintages, you like them the way they are. If not, get a modern watch.
