That trio is simply stunning. The lugs on the YG one especially and the waffle dial. Incredible. Plus they are original.

have you tried on the re-edition? If so how does the size compare to the original?

Thanks. Though I've asked pretty much looked in every Omega Store I came across, none had the Omega 1948 for me to try. I might totally change my mind if I see it in person.

The gold 1953 Sub Seconds is ~33mm, hand wound and super thin at only 9mm. The
The white waffle 1955 Seamaster 34.5mm, automatic. I've not measured how thick it is, but it fits easily under the cuff.

From what I've read the Omega 1948 ReIssue Sub Seconds is 38mm and 11.65mm. Hmmm... on further reading it's actually not that thick compared to my Oyster Perpetual 114200 at 11.5mm... I guess it's the case design makes it look thicker - at least in pictures.

Maybe I need to rethink consideration for the 1948 ReIssue if it looks average thickness in real life. Perhaps the pictures are throwing me off.

Wonder if anyone has an idea of second hand pricing of these models?

Checked chrono, but that's never a good guide?.... Around the 4K GBP mark?
