Here you go, one of the watch with clearer details.

This is the bezel insert, it looks black but in the right light it's a deep navy blue gloss, I may try another pic in different light.

And this is the integrated crystal bezel, the blue is slightly lighter and greyer than the insert

Where did you buy the lighter blue bezel lens insert please? Can you email me at findingmrsmith at hotmail dot com thanks.
No idea where I got it.
I can't remember where I left my car keys this morning, let alone something from over eight years ago.

Do you still have any of them you would sell? Or even a watch to sell?

Wow, you must be a hit at parties. Correct bezels for the 176.007 aren’t easy to find so a little digging always has to be done and you can’t remember? Haha and if you have a hard time finding your car keys all the time please stop driving. We don’t need people like you behind the wheel. Haha

Some of your hands are indeed incorrect: the chrono minute ('airplane') hand is likely from a Speedy mk IV or 125, and the hour & minute hands may also be (they should have a black 'base', but don't necessarily need to be 'needle hands'). Chrono minutes and sundial hands seem fine.

Regarding the bezel: these watches came in a ton of different combinations (see here: https://omegaforums.net/threads/176-007-and-cal-1040-family-review.32325/). Yours is possibly not the most typical (I'd usually see your matte blue dial with the black hour register & painted hour markers in combination with a white tachy ring, and your glossy blue tachy ring more often on the glossy blue dial with white hour register & applied hour markers). But I don't think anyone can prove that your combination was never supplied.

Mine is obviously "wrong" in the sense that it has a service dial and hands, including some sort of Speedy chrono seconds hand and a ridiculous red chrono hour hand (bottom subdial). I'm gonna be putting back the original glossy blue dial soon (in spite of some damage) but I still need to source a lovely metallic blue tachy ring like yours. Dibs of you ever change it for the white one 😉
I have the blue tach. You can email me if you still have your watch and want one. Findingmrsmith at hotmail dot com
