Hello, This is an Omega Seamaster from the late 1970's, Caliber 1012 and case reference 1660251, Has been in the family with an uncle and I found it during a recent trip. Have had it fully serviced from Omega and this has a two year service warranty. I couldn't look up the watch in Omega archives, and seems to be quite rare. Trying to get a sense on value and then take a call to keep or sell it.

Any inputs are welcome

Cool watch, so just keep enjoying it ! Didnt know they also came with a silver dial... I also like the 166.0250 version btw.

This is the dress version of the 166.0251, and seems all original except for the hands maybe? Similar watches seem to have luminous insert in the entire length, not just the tip.

Many silver dialed 166.0251’s have had their hands swapped for sword hands, which I believe are incorrect as well.

As for the price, it would be hard to tell without recent comparable sales, but from
personal experience I know they are worth a bit less than their diving counterparts (i.e black tritium dial w/sword hands)

Wear it in good health 😉

This is mine which was bought new from an Omega dealer around 40 years ago so I can vouch for it's authenticity. Yes I agree the hands luminocity is longer, minor detail and everything else looks correct. Great watch and rarely seen anywhere let alone for sale.
