Good morning (or afternoon),

Could anyone please point me in the right direction for an omega 166.024 case? I would like to try a build but cannot find the case anywhere. If anyone has suggestions I appreciate it.

If you want to build a "WatchCo" from new serviceparts it is not a 166.024 case but 166.0324 you should be looking for.

 

There was the time when I wanted to build one, if that helps you here are the part numbers;

055ST1660324 - case kit
064PP0810001 - dial (12 marker only, big triangle service dial are not available as far as I know)
066PP8118 - seconds hand (White)
065PZ1176 - hands, hour & minute (White)

I tried many watch shops, all of them have mentioned that recently Omega made these cases "restricted", meaning they will provide one only as a replacement part during the service.
Eventually I gave up this project, I guess now the best way to have "WatchCo SM300" is to buy the aready completed watch.

And this is completely false. Omega still sells the case on it's own, without any exchange, just like they always have.

I ordered one in January and it came without any requirement to send a case back...
